Who I Am...


Hello, I am Michelle (LaMaster) Ferrigno, Insurance agent. Licensed for property, casualty, life and health insurance.  I obtained my original license in property and casualty in 1999 through the IIAK and later obtained my life and health licenses to expand my services. Beginning with Logan Lavelle Hunt Insurance in 1998, and presently with Louisville Insurance since 2018, I have many years of experience with the insurance industry.  I am an independent insurance agent, with long standing, sturdy relationships with more than 100 excellent "A" rated insurance and bonding carriers, so I have many well rounded options to provide my clients for their insurance and financial portfolios.   I take pride in being a reliable, knowledgeable agent, with a full team of individuals that can assist you at any time. 


My long term experience has been personal insurance, small business insurance and surety bonding.  
In 1998, I began my insurance career handling the marketing of personal auto, home, rental properties and boat insurance for the agents of LLH.  Along the way I picked up experience in surety bonding.  By attending probate court as our agency rep to assist attorney's and clients with estates, guardianship and other bond required situations, I learned the processes very well on the business side. I have assisted contractors with the required bid and payment/performance bonds for construction projects.  Also, became familiar with the many other bonds required in today's society, such as janitorial, mortgage broker, notary, etc.  In 2018, I partnered with Louisville Insurance, transferring my clients in this acquisition.  I plan to remain with Louisville Insurance for the remainder of my working life.

My small business experience comes two sided as well.  From being a part owner of a local exteriors contracting business, I truly understand the business of construction from the internal operation.  This helped me to also understand a construction/trade business' insurance needs from the outside. In having multiple connections in the construction industry, it just comes natural. 


As a back story, losing my father in a tragic accident when I was twenty two, I learned the importance of estate planning first hand. Being appointed the administrator of his estate, the process made a huge impact on me, both personally and in my career. Because of this experience of personal loss,and going through probate for his estate, I understand first hand the importance of life planning for your family and the process that takes place when a loved one passes.  Be it as simple as having adequate life insurance coverage or as detailed as a full out estate plan, it makes sense to me. For in-depth, strategic financial planning, I have a top-notch wealth management advisor I refer my clients to.

Additional services I can offer my clients are the very close relationships I have with reputable, trustworthy construction/contractors to assist with claims services, mortgage brokers to assist with loans, realtors to assist with home sales, as well as many other professional networks. 

My mission is to provide a full circle of insurance products and reliable references for my clients. Maintaining and building relationships with clients based on my knowledge, honesty and integrity with the help of my staff. My success comes in great part from the referrals of happy clients.
